All That We Are

#It is the thought that counts#

Eddie Two Hawks

All that we are is the result of what we have thought.
If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him.
If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him,
like a shadow that never leaves him.

Sorrows Have Taught Me

Eddie Two Hawks

He who would seek truth and proclaim it to mankind is
bound to suffer. My sorrows have taught me to understand
the sorrows of my fellow men…persecution has not
dimmed the vision within me.

You Can’t Keep Away

Eddie Two Hawks

One who knows does not speak.
One who speaks does not know.
The one who knows is the one whose doors are shut,
whose openings are blocked, whose sharpness
is blunted, and whose glare is softened.
He is one with the subtle truth of the universe.

Thus you cannot get close to such a person
by your love to do so.
Nor can you keep away from him
by your desire to do so.
You cannot bestow benefit on him,
nor can you do him harm,
because he holds the subtle essence of the universe.

Sirius lost queen e-coverDESCRIPTION

The Lost Queen follows Iona, a magical nymph, who is different from the other nymphs in the magical grove of Crystal Orchard. Conflict causes the Elders to exile Iona to the Valley of Grove. When she embarks on a search for the Lost Queen, she is forced to question everything that she was taught, as well as realize that the Lost Queen may be closer to her than she could ever imagine.

 The Dream

It was the end of the longest day of her life. Things that some nymphs had never experienced in a thousand years had all happened to Iona in one day. Her life had never been quite boring, but this day had been the king of them all.

It had all begun with those surreal night visions that Iona had awakened…

The Pearl of Great Price

Im ashamed to die until i have won some victory for humanity.(Horace Mann)

The Pearl of Great Price

A Sermon by the Rev. James P. Cooper

Toronto, November 23, 2008

The kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it. (MAT 13:45,46)

The Old Testament is remarkably silent on the matter of the nature of heaven, hell, and the life after death. It appears that the children of Israel were not able to receive truths about heaven, and so were allowed to continue in their belief in the shadowy spirit world which they called “Sheol.” Sheol is related to the Greek concept of Hades and is often translated as “hell”. Perhaps the most powerful teaching of the Old Testament regarding Sheol is in First Samuel Chapter 28 where Saul begs the witch of En Dor to raise the prophet Samuel’s…

~ Ahhhhhh – – the moon slips into Libra at 3:07 AM this morning on the east coast; setting the tone for a fabulous, social holiday weekend. Your attention turns to your partners and your others, with heightened emphasis on bringing things right side up. This is the time of the lunar cycle when we give others the benefit of the doubt as we try to weigh all the pros and cons. It is a lifelong pursuit, swinging pendulum and constant battle. This is both the gift and the curse of Libra. Unable to make a decision in our attempts to be fair: alas, we judge. Therein lies the contradiction of Libra energy. The essence is all about partnership, yet “in Libra *we* judge.”

The full moon total lunar eclipse takes place tomorrow (Saturday) at 8:05 AM midway through the sign of Aries. She gets to about the…
